being completely intransigent as she is; unable to read her mind he continues talking; she doesnt mean to be inflexible; he doesnt understand her at all even after so many years; there's not much difference between them; he's trying to let her knows what he feels; she doesnt even care; not anymore; and he wonders what went wrong; that's the end of this; there will never ever be an answer, indefinitely.
